The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) has directed residents in the following areas to evacuate immediately:
Boundaries: Vanowen Street south to Burbank Boulevard; County Lane Road east to East Valley Circle Boulevard.
An evacuation warning is also in effect for areas bordered by:
Boundaries: Ingomar Street/Saticoy Street south to Burbank Boulevard; Valley Circle Boulevard east to Woodlake Avenue.
The Kenneth Fire, which ignited near the West Hills neighborhood, is rapidly spreading due to strong winds and dry conditions. Firefighters are actively battling the blaze, but it remains uncontained.
